LORAC- MEGA PRO PALETTE 2 FIRST IMPRESSION

Hello everyone! I'm back with another first impression post! It's the Lorac mega PRO palette 2! AHHHHH!!!! I'm so happy!!! For some reason I did not hear about the first mega palette and I was bummed that I never got my hands on one! There are so many holiday palettes coming out this season that I was so indecisive about which one I should get. I decided to get this one and I am so happy I did! I am so thrilled! I have been using this palette right when I got it. There are 32 different colors and I just feel like I can create any looks with it. I am a huge fan of Lorac's make-up line so I knew I was going to love it! There seems to be mixed reviews about this palette though. When I first saw that this palette was going to come out, I was hesitant to get it because I didn't like the colors as much as the ones I saw in the first palette. But as I continue to do my research I started to like it more and more. I saw gorgeous swatches of the colors and I was drawn to it more and more. I knew I had to get it!

Here is a close up of the colors. I've had this palette for a while now so you can see that I have been using some colors. Of course I couldn't wait because I was so eager to try them! I love the packaging. It's like all of Lorac's packaging with a simple writing in the front. Of course I've mentioned before that I didn't really like the texture of Lorac's products because it gets dirty pretty quickly. It's hard to maintain the quality of the exterior but I'm more in it for the colors than the packaging. The price of this palette is $59. Not bad at all for 32 different colors that are good quality. Lorac's shadows never disappoint me. The palette is a little big but still perfect enough to travel with in my opinion.

Here are swatches of some of the eyeshadows. Isn't it beautiful? The formulation are so buttery like all of Lorac's eye shadows.

I love this palette! There are just so many beautiful colors and it's so pigmented. Go get your hands on one if you haven't already! Get it before it's gone! You won't regret it! :D

June Favorites!

Hi everyone! I'm back with a new favorites post! June was a really great month. I don't have a lot of favorites this month but I'm always happy to share some of the products/things that I was loving and discovering for the month of June. Lets begin!

I am soooo excited to share this product. It is the Peripera's lip tint. This is a Korean lip tint. After discovering that Forever 21 was selling these lip tints I knew I had to get my hands on one of them. Korea is known for their lip tints and I have always wanted to try it out. It did not disappoint me at all. It comes in a bottle shape and an applicator brush. It can get kind of tricky when applying because the formula of this product is quite watery. I would use my finger and dab the product all around my lips. I got the cherry juice which is a very nice red color. The packaging is also extremely cute! And, it was also very affordable. I believe I got it for only 12 dollars at Forever 21.

I finally decided to try a new cleanser with my Clarisonic. This one is called the Gentle Hydro Cleanser. I have always used the Clarisonic Gel Cleanser as a combination with my Clarisonic but I had decided to try a new one to see if there will be a difference in my skin. This one was quite a hit or miss for me. I liked it because I think it really does a good job cleaning and hydrating my face. The one I used before was a gel formula but this one is more of a creamy formula. I didn't realize that it was a non-foaming cleanser so I was kind of bummed out. I am always about the foam because I feel like it is easier when using my Clarisonic. Other than that, I really liked this and was glad I tried it out.

This next one is not beauty related but since I have been crazy about it, I wanted to mention it here. I got these at Tillys and I really like it. I have never been a fan of necklaces or accessories in general but I have been wearing these nonstop. It is a gold color leaf style necklace and the other one is just a round pendant with a tree like design in the middle of it. It just adds a pop of color especially when I'm just wearing a plain black shirt. I love it and I never knew how much one necklace can change a look up so drastically. Definitely a favorite for June.

This next one is a nail polish. It is the Sinful Colors Professionals in the color Thimbleberry. This is a nice pink colored nail polish. It is not light pink but more of a darker and brighter shade of pink. It looks absolutely adorable and perfect for Summer. I totally neglected this nail polish for a while until recently I decided it was a perfect look for Summer and wore it all month long.

And lastly I have the Nature's Republic Moist Steam Cream moisturizer. I am soooo super sad that they weren't selling my favorite moisturizer the Aqua Cream moisturizer I have always used from them. That was me and my girlfriend's holy grail for moisturizers. So we went in after using up our last one but we couldn't find the one we always used. One of the ladies who was working there asked if we needed any help. We told her we were looking for the one we always used and she said that they ran out of it. I was devastated. But she suggested we grabbed this other one instead. She told us that she had recommended this one in replacement of the one we always used. So we decided to try it out because we had no other choice. The packaging as always is creative and cute. The texture was definitely more silicony which isn't a word but I have no better word choice for it. It is also really moisturizing so it gives me the hydration I need. It is definitely also really affordable. I'm glad I had this as a replacement but I would love to have my old one back.
